DOG TRAINING
Do you dream of having a great relationship with your canine companion, but sometimes the communication is just not quite right between you? You know you want them to stop jumping up, but all your dog understands is that you want them to do … something. Speaking another language, especially ‘dog’ can be difficult and even frustrating but we at New Approach are here to help!
When we were at school one thing we probably all had in common was that no one liked being given a huge pile of homework and even when we finished it we probably didn’t learn much because we rushed through. The best way to learn is with a good pace and structure and this is why we offer dog obedience classes that are designed to be attended once a week. This gives you and your four legged friend plenty of time to practice at home and return for the next stage, without feeling overwhelmed, or staying up late trying to practice at the last minute!.
Is my dog too old to go to obedience classes? It’s common knowledge that puppies always benefit from structured training - but what about our older canine friends who might have missed out on vital lessons in their earlier years? There’s good news for all dogs out there because it’s never too late to start school and we welcome all ages to our basic obedience lessons. That old saying ‘you can’t teach old dogs new tricks’ couldn’t be further from the truth - at least when it comes to obedience training at New Approach.
