Lexie; our 5.5 month yellow lab just graduated from the Beginner Level Obedience course at New Approach. The classes are small (8 dogs max); Mike's training style is clear and concise; he works one-on-one when needed to make sure we as owners understand how to lead our dog. He reviews the previous week's training; answers questions and clearly loves what he does. The classes were fun, engaging and well organized. With the training; repetition and practice at home; we would Lexie improve each week. By week 6; I couldn't believe it was the same puppy from week 1. There was a huge difference and I now enjoy walking her and Lexie is also enjoying going for walks. Lexie responded well to the training and structure and looks forward to practicing each day. Lexie also attends Daycare at New Approach and loves it. She has learned how to play with other dogs and I'm often complimented on how well she plays when we are at the park. I cannot reccomend Mike enough. We have a lab puppy, Winnie, who is now 5 months old and full of energy. Mike gave us the tools we needed to rein her in. It felt so good to show off everything she learned on the last day - I really couldnt believe how well she did! Such a transformation from day 1. Mike is so easy to talk to and ask questions. You can really tell how passionate he is for what he does. There are a lot of trainers out there with multiple tier classes and the like, but Mike makes sure you have the teaching tools to make a dog of any age succeed all in one affordable course. Goes to show how much he cares for dogs and their families. So glad we found New Approach! Thanks for everything!
