Mike at New Approach was recommended by the Cambridge Humane Society for grooming and training. Mike helped us to make lots of progress with our puppy in only a matter of weeks and provided us answers to any question we asked, even if unrelated to the training. We've had our puppy in for obedience training and a groom and couldn't be happier!

Lexie; our 5.5 month yellow lab just graduated from the Beginner Level Obedience course at New Approach. The classes are small (8 dogs max); Mike's training style is clear and concise; he works one-on-one when needed to make sure we as owners understand how to lead our dog. He reviews the previous week's training; answers questions and clearly loves what he does. The classes were fun, engaging and well organized. With the training; repetition and practice at home; we would Lexie improve each week. By week 6; I couldn't believe it was the same puppy from week 1. There was a huge difference and...

Krystal did a fantastic job with Delphi, my Great Pyrenees and we will definitely be returning. We both love the special little touches too!

Mike and Crystal are fantastic. We first brought in our pup Fozzy for socialization at doggy daycare but then started bringing Fozzy for classes and grooming. Crystal does a fabulous job grooming Fozzy I could hardly believe how great he looked. The techniques Mike teaches work, as long as you put in the time to practice. Fozzy has become more attentive and well mannered as a result. Thank you!

My experience with New Approach was terrible. They cancelled my appointment without telling me. When I asked them why didn't let me know, the guy said he posted it on Facebook. After I told him that not everybody uses Facebook, he said he sent the email out. But he never took my email address! From the way they treated me, I can't trust them to take good care of my dog.

"New Approach is a wonderful place to leave your pet. With leaving my puppy during the day I know I don't have any worries and this gives her an opportunity to socialize with other dogs which is extremely important for development. Mike handles all the dogs with care and I love the way he interacts with all the animals in his care."

Happy Dogs

These three components are the perfect formula for a healthy and happy dog. Training is important not just for discipline but also to help strengthen the bond between you and your dog by establishing boundaries. Daycare keeps your dog well exercised but more importantly keeps him/her socialized. Grooming is not just about aesthetics. More importantly, a good groomer may recognize things like skin conditions or suspicious lumps and bumps

Together these components are the key to your dogs success.
