Lexie; our 5.5 month yellow lab just graduated from the Beginner Level Obedience course at New Approach. The classes are small (8 dogs max); Mike's training style is clear and concise; he works one-on-one when needed to make sure we as owners understand how to lead our dog. He reviews the previous week's training; answers questions and clearly loves what he does. The classes were fun, engaging and well organized. With the training; repetition and practice at home; we would Lexie improve each week. By week 6; I couldn't believe it was the same puppy from week 1. There was a huge difference and...

We brought our puppy to New Approach after 2 rounds of training at another local trainer because we continued to have obedience, dominance and fear issues with our 10 month old German Shepherd. We started with the classes and noticed a change in our dog immediately with the tools he provided us with. Mike’s approach is geared to love and affection training rather than reward training. For anyone who has a dog with confidence issues we highly recommend going here for training. I feel like like those 6 weeks of training sessions improved our lives! We appreciated the relaxed environment and...

Excellent experience! Roscoe and I learned so much! Mike has a talent at simplifying dog training, to make it manageable and easy to learn. If you and your dog put in the practise and the homework-100% his techniques work! Highly recommend New Approach Canine!

Mike came highly recommended from a friend for dog training. Last fall my daughter and I decided to bring our puppy Dexter. With in the first class, Dexter was an all star at "Place" basically he really enjoyed laying on the cot. Dexter is such a wonderful dog very well behaved with good manners because we as owners listened to Mike. Practice and repetition makes for a wonderful family pet. Fast forward 6 months later, we decided to get another puppy and are beginning lessons again. We have the tools, but really want to enjoy the training experience again with Cooper!

Testimonial

"New Approach is a wonderful place to leave your pet. With leaving my puppy during the day I know I don't have any worries and this gives her an opportunity to socialize with other dogs which is extremely important for development. Mike handles all the dogs with care and I love the way he interacts with all the animals in his care."

Happy Dogs

These three components are the perfect formula for a healthy and happy dog. Training is important not just for discipline but also to help strengthen the bond between you and your dog by establishing boundaries. Daycare keeps your dog well exercised but more importantly keeps him/her socialized. Grooming is not just about aesthetics. More importantly, a good groomer may recognize things like skin conditions or suspicious lumps and bumps

Together these components are the key to your dogs success.
